Job summary

Trudell Medical International is seeking an experienced design engineer to deliver innovative mechanical and electromechanical medical device designs. You will act as a design-responsible engineer or advisor to junior engineers, mentoring them while driving projects on plan and within target costs.

You will lead development processes, collaborate with SEED and Marketing teams, and ensure regulatory compliance throughout the product development lifecycle, while leveraging CAD, simulation tools

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronic, Biomedical) or related field.
• 10–15 years of product development and design experience.
• Experience in a regulated industry (medical devices/pharma/aerospace) is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Design efficient mechanical and electromechanical systems to support product design.
• Mentor junior engineers to improve capability and delivery of designs.
• Lead development of project plans and continuous improvement initiatives.
