Traferox is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in Mississauga, ON to own the full product development lifecycle from concept through manufacturing transfer. You will design mechanical components using SolidWorks, develop prototypes, and produce engineering documentation while working with manufacturing, systems engineering, quality, regulatory, and product management.

You should have 5+ years in mechanical design, experience with design for manufacturability, and strong communication skills.

Formación

• 5+ years experience in mechanical design.
• Experience in regulated industry / quality systems is asset.

Responsabilidades

• Create solid models, assemblies, and drawings using SolidWorks.
• Lead full cycle mechanical development from design to production transfer.
• Develop assembly procedures for mechanical/electrical assemblies.
• Maintain Bills of Materials and support engineering changes.
• Prepare technical specifications and test protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing and regulatory.
