Job summary

Leading Mechanical Contractor in Canada seeks a Mechanical Project Manager to oversee HVAC, plumbing and fire protection projects across Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto. You will plan, direct and control projects from conception through completion, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery within budget.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience in mechanical contracting, professional engineer credentials, and strong BIM/AutoCAD and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years project management experience in HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection.
• Registered Professional Engineer or eligible for registration.
• Knowledge of building construction, materials and codes.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office and project software.

Responsibilities

• Review project estimates and scope on awarded projects.
• Develop manpower plans with the Construction Manager.
• Draft subcontracts and issue Purchase Orders.
• Coordinate BIM activities on designated projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Mentor staff and review progress at site meetings.
