Rightway Recruitment is seeking a Project Manager – Mechanical Engineering to join their Vancouver team. Lead and coordinate mechanical projects, prepare specs and reports, evaluate sites, and support HVAC/plumbing design and capital planning for building projects.

Expect collaboration with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams in a growth‑oriented firm. Qualifications include a 4+ year mechanical engineering background, BC/EGBC registration or pursuit, and a Vancouver-based position

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 4+ years of mechanical engineering experience in building systems design and assessment.
• Experience with HVAC and plumbing systems in buildings.
• Knowledge of life-cycle analysis, cost estimating, and capital planning in the Canadian market.
• EGBC registration or active pursuit.
• Strong communication and client-facing abilities.
• Driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
• Based in Vancouver with ability to work across North America.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coordinate mechanical engineering projects from assessment through delivery.
• Prepare mechanical drawings, equipment specs, and technical reports.
• Conduct site evaluations and building condition reviews.
• Support HVAC and plumbing system design for existing and new construction.
• Contribute to cost estimating and capital planning.
• Act as a primary client contact and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Mentor junior staff and promote knowledge sharing.
• Represent the firm at meetings and industry events.
