Job summary

Silent-Aire, a division of Johnson Controls, seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer with expertise in data center liquid cooling and air cooling. You will lead the mechanical systems design and coordinate across engineering disciplines as the technical project manager.

The role oversees client conversations, pricing, design development, testing, compliance, and support during manufacturing, commissioning, and warranty, collaborating with cross-functional teams to review performance and develop SOPs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of mechanical engineering experience with HVAC and data center cooling.
• P.Eng. designation required.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of design professionals and mentor Engineers in Training.
• Design and optimize liquid cooling and air cooling systems for data centers.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, QA, and supply chain to ensure standards and cost reduction.
• Develop construction documents, SOPs, and support during commissioning and warranty.
• Review performance components and test designs with cross-functional teams.
