Job summary

Husky Technologies TM in Bolton, Ontario is seeking a Mechanical engineer/designer to specialize in resolving service issues across all product lines. Join a team dedicated to reliability, root-cause analysis, and permanent corrective actions using an 8D problem solving process.

You will analyze service data, lead cross‑disciplinary collaboration, and develop solutions that can be implemented in current and future production, supporting global service teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication and strong presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word).
• Experience with Unigraphics and/or other 3D CAD software.
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a cohesive team.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies and assembly practices.
• Knowledge of plastic processing technology and hot runners is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Resolve service issues using an 8D problem solving process.
• Analyze service data to understand problems and identify root causes.
• Develop permanent corrective actions and field retrofit designs.
• Coordinate activities with product quality, field service, development, and operations teams.
• Provide troubleshooting support for global product support teams.
