Amphenol Corporation’s High Speed Products Group in Markham, ON is seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer - Mechanical Design for Liquid Cooling. You will own development of cold plates and integrated cooling assemblies for AI infrastructure, balancing performance, reliability, manufacturability, cost, and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (master’s a plus).
• 7+ years of hands‑on mechanical design and product development experience with ownership from concept to production.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (Creo or SolidWorks) and production drawing development.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerances, materials, and design for manufacturing and assembly.

Responsabilités

• Lead concept generation and detailed mechanical design of liquid cooling components and assemblies for high-speed I/O and AI infrastructure applications.
• Create 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerancing analyses, and BOMs for precision components.
• Develop robust designs addressing fit, flatness, stiffness, sealing, assembly, and serviceability.
• Collaborate with thermal engineers to translate thermal and fluid requirements into practical mechanical designs.
• Work with manufacturing and suppliers to select materials and processes and improve manufacturability.
