Job summary

Plum Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced Lead Mechanic to own the mechanical maintenance, reliability, and readiness of Plum's fleet and field equipment. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can work on equipment themselves, but who can also establish a disciplined maintenance program, prioritize work, lead other mechanics, and ensure equipment is ready when Operations needs it.

Qualifications

• Ideally 10+ years of industrial/heavy-equipment mechanical experience in energy/oil & gas or similar environments.
• Journeyperson Heavy-Duty Mechanic or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability with heavy equipment.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and reliability.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day mechanical maintenance activities for Plum equipment and fleet.
• Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical/control issues.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures and checklists.
• Coordinate with Operations to ensure equipment readiness and safe operation.
• Lead and mentor junior mechanics and coordinate external maintenance resources.
• Ensure documentation and reporting of maintenance actions.
