Russell Tobin & Associates is seeking a Senior System Analyst for a 12-month contract in Toronto, hybrid work arrangement. Client is in the public sector.

The role demands deep systems analysis expertise, extensive Maximo experience, and strong stakeholder facilitation skills. Responsibilities include eliciting and validating requirements, documenting AS-IS/TO-BE processes with BPMN, and leading Maximo/MAS implementation and integrations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in systems analysis, elicitation, and large-scale IT implementations.
• Hands-on Maximo experience (IBM Maximo v7/v8) and/or MAS.
• Experience with Maximo Asset Management including work orders, PMs, and vendor management.
• Proven record of Maximo implementation, transformation, upgrades, or migrations.
• Experience documenting AS-IS/TO-BE processes with BPMN and workflows.
• Experience with enterprise system integration, data conversion, QA, and UAT.
• Ability to document functional/non-functional requirements and identify process improvements.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; public sector experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead/support the implementation of IBM Maximo Application Suite replacing the existing Maximo.
• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements with stakeholders.
• Document AS-IS/TO-BE processes using BPMN and identify improvements.
• Support enterprise work management covering asset management, work orders, PMs, service requests, and capital projects.
• Analyze Maximo/MAS integrations, data conversion, migration, and dependencies.
• Develop requirements docs, process maps, decision logs, and traceability matrices.
• Support QA, functional testing, UAT, defect validation, and rollout activities.
• Evaluate solution options and document requirements (functional & non-functional).
• Assist training, SOPs, sustainment docs, and post-implementation activities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, architects, vendors, and PMs to deliver Maximo/MAS solutions.
