Job summary

Source Code is seeking a Senior Maximo Consultant for a 1-year contract with hybrid work options in Toronto. The role demands extensive Maximo configuration, end-to-end work management expertise, and hands-on data migration from legacy systems.

You will design, validate, and document configurations, and lead testing and cutover activities. The position emphasizes delivering technical artifacts, integration requirements, and risk-based recommendations to ensure a successful go-live.

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on Maximo configuration experience including Organization, site setup, Application Designer, Database Configuration, Security Groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide design recommendations for Maximo configurations and migration readiness.
• Review configuration workbooks, workflows, security, reports, dashboards and mobile setup.
• Lead data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and cutover planning for migration projects.
• Drive SIT/UAT, defect triage and go-live support across development, test, pre-production and production environments.
• Prepare knowledge transfer notes, job aids, and sustainment documentation.

1 Year contract - Hybrid(3 Days)/remote also possible for candidates outside of GTA

• + 2 Possible extensions of 6 months each

Must Haves: This is a Maximo Functional Consulting Role

1. 10+ years hands‑on Maximo configuration experience , including direct work in Organization, site setup, Application Designer, Database Configuration, Security Groups and related configuration of Maximo.

2. Successfully delivered minimum 3 full cycle Maximo implementations as Maximo application consultant (not end user or super user or project manager)

3. Proven experience configuring end‑to‑end Work Management in Maximo, including:

• SR to WO lifecycle
• Job Plans, PMs, and Work Types
• Planning, scheduling, execution, and completion
• Vendor/contractor work and follow‑on work

4. Deep experience with Maximo data model and setup, including:

• Assets, Locations, Classifications, Meters
• PM hierarchies and job plan structures

5. Hands‑on data migration experience:

• Legacy EAM to Maximo mapping (Assets, Locations, PMs, WOs)
• Data validation, reconciliation, and load cycle support
• Ability to identify data vs configuration defects

Deliverables

1. Maximo Manage design recommendations, configuration options, and decision notes.

2. Review comments on configuration workbooks, workflows, security, reports, dashboards, mobile setup, and related implementation artifacts.

3. Configuration/build validation findings, including issues, gaps, risks, and recommended corrections.

4. Fit/gap findings, assumptions, risks, and recommended resolution options.

5. Data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and migration readiness input.

6. Integration review input for SAP/SAP BTP, MREF/TRIRIGA, APIs, mappings, error handling, monitoring, reconciliation, and testing.

7. Test scenario input, defect triage notes, root‑cause analysis, and configuration validation findings.

8. Release and environment promotion readiness input across development, test, pre‑production, and production environments.

9. Cutover, go‑live, hyper‑care, and stabilization readiness input.

10. Knowledge transfer notes, walkthroughs, job aids, or sustainment support documentation.

11. Regular status updates, issue/risk inputs, blockers, and recommended next steps.

Deliverables may be provided as formal documents, review comments, working‑session outputs, annotated artifacts, decision notes, issue logs, or other written outputs accepted by the City Project Manager.
