Job summary

Sofina Foods Canada is seeking a Production Scheduler to manage and optimize the Master Production Schedule (MPS) ensuring alignment with sales forecasts and customer orders. You will coordinate with the Plant Manager to balance raw materials, in-process goods, and finished inventory while planning daily and weekly production workflows.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing planning, proficiency in MS Office, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing planning, coordinating, and scheduling production operations.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing food processes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Ensure shipping dates align with sales forecasts and customer orders.
• Develop daily and weekly production schedules using the capacity plan.
• Coordinate integration of forecasts, raw materials, and inventories to meet targets.
• Adjust schedules in response to changes (e.g., equipment breakdowns).
