Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants is seeking a Senior Marketing and Proposal Specialist to drive compliant, compelling submittals across our regional offices in Ontario and BC. You will coordinate proposal development, craft win themes, and ensure timely delivery of SOQs, resumes, and project descriptions, while aligning with company policies and copyright laws.

The role requires strong writing, editing, and project coordination skills, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and several years of experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or public relations with 6+ years in engineering, architecture, or construction, or 10+ years in related fields.
• Demonstrated writing skills and ability to craft compelling proposals.
• Strong formatting, editing, proofreading, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Adobe Acrobat
• Experience with Illustrator is preferred.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead all aspects of competitive proposal preparation from planning through delivery.
• Review messages and win themes; storyboard proposal layouts.
• Draft introductions, win themes, proof statements, and project descriptions.
• Ensure compliance with proposal/SOQ criteria and on-time delivery.
• Develop tracking systems for proposals and gather input from technical leads.
• Create branded presentations with targeted messaging and visuals.
• Collaborate with branch teams to align plans with the Strategic Plan.
• Extract and organize market, client, and competition data for leadership review.
