Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. seeks a Senior Marketing and Proposal Specialist in Canada focusing on Toronto, Ottawa, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph or Burnaby. Hybrid work arrangement offered.

Responsible for developing compliant proposals, SOQs, and marketing materials to win profitable work regionally or corporately. The role requires strong writing, editing, and project management skills, with experience in engineering or construction contexts, and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or PR required.
• Six years of progressive professional experience in engineering, architecture, or commercial construction or ten years related experience.
• Demonstrated writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Illustrator a plus.
• Ability to follow complex instructions and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead all aspects of competitive proposal preparation end-to-end.
• Review, hone and storyboard messages for client presentations and proposals.
• Draft content including introductions, win themes, and proof statements.
• Ensure proposal/SOQ compliance and on-time delivery; manage production.
• Develop scheduling, tracking systems and gather input from technical leads.
• Extract and categorize information on markets, clients, and past proposals.
• Collaborate with BD leaders across offices to connect seller-doers.
• Track opportunities in CRM and support research for responses.
• Oversee marketing collateral, resumes, and project descriptions.
