Job summary

Confluence Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Analyst in Market Data Governance & Procurement to shape procurement, governance and delivery of market data across the organisation.

You will own vendor relationships, manage complex contracts, budgeting, and invoice reconciliation, collaborating with Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal and external data providers. The role offers exposure to commercial, operational and technical work with senior stakeholders, and preferred locations include

Qualifications

• At least three years’ experience in market data or a data-product environment.
• Direct experience with financial market data vendors and supplier-management processes.
• Experience with market data licensing, negotiations or complex contract review.
• Knowledge of financial instruments, indexes, exchanges, ESG data, reference data or pricing data.
• Understanding budgeting and supplier invoice reconciliation.
• Strong data-analysis, communication and project-management skills.
• Ability to collaborate across business, technical and commercial teams.
• Experience with governance initiatives, data-quality controls and licensing obligations.

Responsibilities

• Manage market data procurement, vendor relationships, contract renewals and pricing discussions.
• Lead negotiations to optimize costs and service quality.
• Reconcile supplier invoices and support budgeting and financial controls.
• Maintain market data, contract and usage inventories and respond to supplier notices.
• Strengthen data-governance standards, lineage, data dictionaries and licensing obligations.
• Partner with Product, Eng, Finance, Legal and external providers to improve data quality and workflows.
