Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. seeks a Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer with 8+ years in assembly and fabrication to drive defect reduction and improve process capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of direct manufacturing experience in assembly and fabrication environments.
• Experience leading PFMEA, Control Plans, CAPA and continuous improvement initiatives.
• ASQ CQE or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve key quality metrics and dashboards (DPU, FPY, NCRs, warranty, customer complaints).
• Develop and maintain Control Plans with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate process risks.
• Lead supplier quality issue resolution, containment, root cause analysis and verification of effectiveness.
