Job Requirement / Responsibilities
- Lead engineering projects from concept through to implementation, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards.
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians, offering guidance and expertise on complex engineering challenges.
- Collaborate with production, and quality assurance teams to resolve technical issues and implement solutions.
- Conduct detailed analysis and testing of new and existing products, systems, and processes to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines during engineering activities & responsible for quality of products at all stages and drive production yield.
- Manage and track project progress, including resource allocation, risk assessments, and performance metrics.
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production issues, offering effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings through process improvements, automation, and efficiency initiatives.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends to ensure continuous improvement and competitiveness.
- Responsible for resolving discrepancies and technical issues related to product with customers
- Prepare instructions/procedures for the assembly processes, ECN/ECR/BOM Creation & Update/Deviation, IOPQ are drafted & executed.
- Equipment selection / reliable fixture designs and fabrications with engaging right suppliers for new projects and improvements and assist in other projects assign by the superior.
- Perform internal quality system audit & responsible for all engineering related activities of the assembly line concerned.
Education Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or related field).
Key Experiences
- Minimum of 5-7 years of engineering experience, with a strong background in manufacturing, process optimization, or product development.
- Hands-on experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for designing components and systems is advantage.
- Experience with process automation, control systems, or robotics is advantageous.
- Experience in troubleshooting complex technical issues and providing practical solutions.
- Good knowledge in ISO9001, ISO13485, IATF 16949, GDP & GMP.
