The Senior Manager, Technology & Cybersecurity Audit is responsible for developing, maintaining, executing, and overseeing the risk-based Information Technology (IT) Internal Audit Plan and data analytics strategy. Responsibilities include managing the planning and execution of IT and cybersecurity audits, collaborating with auditees to address risks and improve business processes focused on system and data integrity, managing a team of IT audit professionals, and preparing reports for senior leadership and the Board.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for cybersecurity professionals to expand their expertise and impact within Internal Audit, shaping ATCO's cybersecurity posture in partnership with our diverse business units.

What Else You Get To Do :
  1. Develop and maintain the risk-based IT Internal Audit Universe, including risks related to cybersecurity, data governance, vendor risk management, system design, AI, cloud computing, and IT change management.
  2. Create the risk-based IT Internal Audit Plan in consultation with key stakeholders.
  3. Maintain professionalism and ethical standards in compliance with IIA Standards and Code of Conduct.
  4. Monitor audit plan completion, escalate risks of non-completion, and identify opportunities for plan enhancement.
  5. Support reporting of audit plan completion to leadership and the Board.
  6. Assess risks faced by ATCO entities and the effectiveness of governance, risk, and control processes.
  7. Identify best practices and frameworks for evaluating IT processes.
  8. Lead and support IT and cybersecurity audits, communicating findings and opportunities for improvement.
  9. Develop and update audit policies, practices, and templates.
  10. Manage a team of senior IT audit staff, including work assignments and performance evaluations.
  11. Deliver IT training on requirements, data analytics, and emerging risks.
  12. Certifications preferred include CISA, CISM, CISSP, CGEIT, and CIA.
  13. Assess the impact of third-party control reports on the audit plan.
Who You Are :
  1. Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  2. 10+ years in an IT security role with demonstrated ethics and management expertise.
  3. Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, internal audit standards, and industry standards.
  4. Extensive knowledge of technology and cybersecurity controls.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Proven leadership and team development capabilities.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  8. Experience with Data Analytics, Oracle, SAP, and AI.
