Job summary

Raise is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing in Toronto for a 6‑month contract, offering a hybrid work arrangement (4 days on site, 1 day remote) and a pay rate of CAD 61.10–72.15 per hour.

The role leads negotiations on complex, high-value contracts, develops strategies with senior management, and builds playbooks for services and supplier models. Strong cross-functional collaboration and a finance/procurement background are required.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of procurement sourcing experience.
• Minimum 5 years in technology sourcing.
• Experience leading complex, high-value contracts.
• Proven ability to author and edit contracts.
• Experience leading cross-functional stakeholder interactions.
• Post-secondary education in Finance or related field.
• Purchasing field or procurement designation preferred.

Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing

• Contract Length: 6 Months

We at Raise are hiring a Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing for one of our top clients. After establishing themselves as an industry leader, they’re now expanding their team to meet rising demand.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with senior management to proactively develop negotiation and contract strategies for high risk/complex and sensitive sourcing initiatives.


• Gather and analyze data to create playbooks and strategies to support the different business models for services contemplated or currently under contract and prepare findings for senior management.


• Develop and negotiate complex (strategically critical, high value, or high risk) contract strategies that will provide cost effective, sustainable solutions to Banking businesses, and optimizing total value generated from bank’s supplier base.

Must-Have Skills:

• 10-15 years of procurement sourcing experience, not purchasing experience (No flexibility for less)*


• Previous technology sourcing (5 years minimum experience)*


• Leads negotiations for complex deals with a total contract value $5Million or more*


• Contract authoring and editing*


• Experience in leading and supporting cross functional stakeholder interactions/relationships*


• Post-secondary education in Finance, Related


• Purchasing field or Procurement Designation*

Nice-to-have Skills:

• Nice to have: proven experience sourcing and negotiating deals with AI providers


• Understanding of procurement law and/or regulations


• Business and Financial Acumen


• Strong Negotiation skills
