About the Role

The Risk Operations team plays a vital role in safeguarding our business by managing payments and fraud risks. As Senior Manager of Risk Operations, Payments & Fraud , you will lead a team of analysts, collaborating across departments to implement proactive risk management strategies that enhance business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Chargeback Strategy & Prevention : Monitor and reduce chargeback rates, develop dispute strategies, manage vendor relationships, and stay ahead of regulatory changes.
  • Fraud Detection & Rule Optimization : Analyze trends, implement fraud rules, lead investigations into card testing and content fraud.
  • Payments Optimization Support : Collaborate with Product, Analytics, and Finance to improve payment processor performance and onboarding of new payment tools.
  • Cross-Functional Risk Insights & Integration : Create dashboards, report to leadership, prioritize risks, and advocate for feature and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years in Payments Risk, Fraud Prevention, or Risk Operations
  • Experience managing chargeback programs and optimizing fraud rules
  • Hands-on with risk software / tools and global payments ecosystems
  • Strong analytical skills and cross-functional collaboration abilities
  • 1+ year of people management experience

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SQL, Databricks, Looker
