Qualifications

• CPA designation required.
• 8–10 years progressive experience in a relevant field.
• 1–3 years of managerial experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience in budgeting and financial management in a university framework.
• Fluency in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Oversees financial reporting for research grants and ensures adherence to funding requirements.
• Manages treasury operations, cash management, and reimbursement processing.
• Directs accounting and reporting decisions related to Research Accounting and supports financial goals.
• Prepares year-end audit files and coordinates auditor inquiries.
• Identifies process improvements with stakeholders to enhance efficiency.
