Position: Senior Manager Production

Code: MMT / 23270

Salary: $115,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year

The Senior Manager Production oversees all engine module production processes, coordinating activities within the MTU-Group and with external clients. The role involves guiding staff, supporting departmental and company goals, and implementing process improvements.

Your Responsibilities:
General Duties:
  • Manage and coordinate the Production Centre activities to meet departmental goals.
  • Align production activities with business strategies to enhance overall achievement.
  • Maintain standards for test, repair, and overhaul of engine modules.
  • Manage departmental budget.
  • Set, monitor, and report KPIs to the Director of Production, aligning with corporate objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with aviation and MTU standards.
  • Coordinate with other managers to streamline operations.
  • Oversee training for department staff to ensure proficiency and compliance with Canadian Ministry of Transport standards.
Operational Duties:
  • Supervise employees daily to meet targets and customer expectations.
  • Ensure processes follow internal specifications.
  • Manage tools, machinery, and equipment procurement and maintenance.
  • Ensure products meet quality and cost standards.
  • Investigate damages and implement corrective actions.
Strategic Duties:
  • Develop and implement engine production strategies aligned with company vision and values.
  • Research and develop production programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Create business cases for capital investments.
  • Implement process improvements and corrective measures.
  • Coordinate with senior management to align operational standards.
Qualifications:
  • MBA with 4-5 years in operations or engineering, or a Bachelor's degree with over 6 years of experience in related fields.
  • Trade diploma in aerospace with 5+ years of leadership experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Windows and MS Office; basic knowledge of SAP.
