Job summary

Interior Health in Canada is seeking a permanent full-time Manager, Medical Staff Retention & Experience to lead a region-wide strategy that enhances physician and medical staff engagement and retention.

This leadership role partners with corporate and clinical leaders to create a welcoming workplace, fosters strong communication between care teams and senior leadership, and drives strategic initiatives aligned with IH priorities. Travel to sites is required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading medical staff engagement and retention initiatives.
• Ability to develop and measure retention strategies across portfolios.
• Strong communication and relationship-building across internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead IH-wide policies and procedures related to medical staff experience and retention.
• Gather data, generate insights, and support leaders to improve the medical staff experience.
• Collaborate with partners, HAMAC, and external organizations to drive change.
• Recruit, develop, and supervise staff while managing budgets.
• Travel to IH sites to provide on-site guidance and meetings.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
