Salary: $108,000.00 - $135,000.00 CAD per year

The Senior Manager of Logistics and Export Compliance oversees material management, coordinates logistics functions, manages department staff, and ensures compliance with export laws and regulations, including those related to military contracts and international trade laws.

Your Tasks
General duties:
  • Manage and coordinate Logistics Department activities.
  • Align logistics operations with business strategies.
  • Maintain departmental budget and KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with aviation and MTU standards.
  • Coordinate training for department staff.
Operational duties:
  • Supervise logistics staff and ensure resource availability.
  • Support the procurement cycle and shipping activities.
  • Manage resources to support production and customer requirements.
Strategic duties:
  • Lead process improvement initiatives.
  • Foster team building and manage work stoppages.
  • Establish relationships with global business units for optimal results.
Requirements
  • Degree in Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years in logistics management, preferably in operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with aviation and unionized employees preferred.
