Job Overview

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is seeking a Senior Manager, IT Delivery - Finance Products. This role reports to the Director of Application Services and is responsible for leading the financial products technology team, ensuring the successful delivery, enhancement, and optimization of SAP-based financial solutions. The position oversees initiative execution, development cycles, and IT operations for product delivery.

Key Accountabilities

1. Lead the IT product delivery function for financial products, focusing on SAP solutions (SAP S/4HANA, SAP FICO, and related financial modules).
2. Collaborate with business leaders, finance teams, and IT stakeholders to define and execute technology roadmaps aligned with enterprise goals.
3. Manage end-to-end product lifecycle, from strategy and design to implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
4. Ensure financial technology solutions meet regulatory, compliance, and security requirements.
5. Drive operational excellence by improving system performance, reliability, and efficiency.
6. Oversee vendor and partner relationships to ensure effective service delivery and system enhancements.
7. Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications

1. 4-Year University Degree or equivalent.
2. 8-10 years overall experience with 3-5 years in a leadership role focusing on SAP.
3. Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP FICO, and financial process automation.
4. Knowledge of finance and accounting principles, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance requirements.
5. Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing IT professionals.
6. Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and modern IT product management methodologies.
7. Understanding of IT governance frameworks (ITIL, COBIT) and financial industry regulations (ICFR).
8. Experience with cloud-based SAP solutions and integrations with other enterprise systems.
9. Background in financial planning & analysis (FP&A) tools and automation technologies.
