KPMG in Winnipeg, MB is seeking an experienced IT risk professional to join our Technology Risk Services team. The role focuses on technology assurance, IT controls, and advisory work across industries.

You will develop engagement plans, assess governance and risks, manage tasks, and deliver reports to clients. The position requires a strong IT/IT audit background and communication skills to build client relationships and support business development.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, accounting, computer science, management information systems or a related field.
• Required IT audit designation, such as CISA, CISSP or CISM. Accounting designations such as CPA or CIA are an asset.
• Eight or more years of combined relevant experience in audit, consulting or industry is preferred.
• Experience assessing or implementing business systems or emerging technologies, and knowledge of business, IT and audit risks.
• Knowledge of PCAOB audit standards for IT controls is an asset; governance, risk and compliance processes is desirable.
• Strong communication, client relationship, engagement and project ownership skills.

• Assess governance, risks and controls related to IT planning, agile projects, general IT controls, business processes, applications, system implementations and data conversion.
• Plan and manage project tasks, coordinate with client and KPMG teams, collect and analyze information, and document and evaluate processes, risks, controls, policies and strategies.
• Discuss findings and recommendations with clients and prepare reports and other deliverables.
• Work with clients on emerging technologies and issues, including blockchain, crypto-assets, cloud services, intelligent automation, IoT, virtual and augmented reality, cybersecurity, privacy and the metaverse.
• Build client relationships, support business development pursuits, and contribute to practice development through knowledge sharing, training, coaching and practice direction.

Overview
