What You Will Be Doing:

• Oversee full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end close improvements
• Lead financial planning and analysis (budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling) to support business growth and decision-making
• Manage financial reporting, including private reporting, variance analysis, and commentary
• Prepare for and support external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and best practices
• Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll transactions, maintaining accuracy and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with government filings, including sales tax and payroll tax requirementsProvide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff, fostering professional growth and development

What We Need From You:

• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and FP&A
• Strong technical accounting skills, including experience with audit preparation and financial analysis
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly
