Job summary

Geologic, based in Calgary with a global footprint, is seeking a Senior Manager of Software Development to lead a full-stack engineering team building modern, cloud-based applications. You will own the health and output of the team end to end, drive an iterative development process, and coordinate release and project management to keep timelines predictable.

You will coach engineers, manage down and up with clear communications, and ensure quality and sustainability while balancing roadmap

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a full-stack engineering team across frontend, backend, and related disciplines.
• Hands-on track record building modern, cloud-based applications.
• Strong experience with iterative/agile development, release, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional full-stack team spanning frontend and backend, ensuring predictable delivery.
• Coach engineers, run effective meetings, and allocate the right people to the right work.
