Job Summary

This highly motivated and results-oriented individual will manage a busy fixed asset department, liaise daily with operations and external suppliers, and deliver results according to deadlines.

If you join us as our Senior Manager, Fixed Assets, your responsibilities will include:

• Identifying opportunities for process improvement to enhance accuracy and efficiency in the Fixed Assets department
• Managing administration, accounting, and reporting for all fixed asset activities in Canada, including reviewing capital requests, tax applications, legal contracts, amortization processes, asset maintenance in the Fixed Asset module, etc.
• Analyzing all fixed asset accounts
• Preparing internal reports for period-end, such as Capital Lease Rollforward, Depreciation Breakdown, Major Projects, etc.
• Reviewing Fixed Assets Continuity schedules and Capital Budget Tracking
• Ensuring all approvals comply with Compass Group UK requirements
• Advising operations on fixed asset policies, procedures, and IFRS compliance
• Handling analysis and queries as required by operations
• Participating in other duties and special projects, including managing audit queries and system enhancements
• Managing a team of six, providing mentorship and support
