What you’ll be doing
As the Senior Manager, Enhanced Business Testing, reporting to the Director, Portfolio Management, you'll be responsible for executing and managing the Enhanced Business Testing (EBT) central checkpoint for all projects and initiatives within Personal Business Banking (PBB) that are eligible for EBT prior to implementation. You will work in partnership with Product and Project Delivery stakeholders, Technology Partners, Business Controls, GORM to validate the business testing deliverables and recommend pass or fail rating. This entails reviewing, ensuring quality due diligence and identifying gaps between business testing deliverables provided and the Enhanced Business Testing (EBT) Guidelines for all Initiatives/Programs/Projects/Agile Products in PBB Delivery deemed in scope. You'll be responsible for managing a repository of documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reviews, due diligence on following EBT guidelines, validating evidence of pre-launch and post-launch practices.

How you’ll succeed
Enhanced Business Testing Governance – Single point of contact for central checkpoint reviews for all initiatives/Programs/ Projects/Agile Products in PBB Delivery deemed in scope. This includes ensuring deliverables are complete and validating that documentation show that quality business acceptance testing was covered. Responsible for maintaining a PBB EBT Checkpoint calendar based on information provided by the PBB delivery teams, as well as a central repository for EBT Checkpoint artifacts.
Governance Reporting – Responsible for pass/fail EBT Checkpoint recommendations to the PMO Director, supported by well-articulated justifications. PMO Director’s approval is required for delivery teams to proceed to next phase of the initiatives.
Quarterly Control Testing – Single point of contact for quarterly reviews on effectiveness of the central checkpoint function conducted by Business Controls. This is include responsibility for providing supporting checkpoint artifacts to the reviewers, address any clarifications needed and provide recommendations for remediations to the process and deliverables if gaps are found. PMO Director’s concurrence is required for any remediation actions.
Enhanced Business Testing Support – Single point of contact for PBB Project Delivery, Product teams, Business Controls and other stakeholder on clarifications, training and refresher walkthroughs on content of the EBT Guidelines.
Communication – Ensure open communication and relationship with Product and Project Delivery stakeholders, Technology Partners, Business Controls, GORM is maintained and leveraged as needed during the EBT stages (Planning, Execution, Attestation, Checkpoint, Monitoring). Open communication includes providing recommendations to the various business teams on how to improve on their adoption of the EBT Guidelines.
Relationship Management – Advocate/facilitate information gathering and sharing with the Business executives, leaders, owners and delivery managers, throughout the execution of EBT. Seek and foster cooperation at all times to timely achieve shared business goals and priorities.
Who you are
You can demonstrate experience. In conducting and/or managing business acceptance testing. You have hands on experience in executing business acceptance testing, and can ensure that test plans, test cases, test results are clear, comprehensive, and well documented.You have experience managing projects end-to-end. Experience in relevant/similar role in the financial services sector is an asset.
You can demonstrate knowledge. Of Personal & Business Banking Products including systems and processes is an asset. You understand business end-to-end scenarios from a client, business user and product management view.
You can proactively provide advice. Provide advice to your team, including ongoing feedback, support, and mentorship. Proactively identify any potential issues throughout all test phases and suggest possible improvements or enhancements.
