PetroChina Canada is recruiting a Manager, Engineering Services in Calgary to lead the Surface Engineering team and oversee Process Safety Management and asset integrity across PCC’s operated assets. Reporting to the Director, Engineering & Construction, this role combines technical leadership with regulatory compliance and capital project support.

You will drive safety, reliability and efficiency through lifecycle engineering, including inspections, RBI, MOC, and collaboration with EPC/EPCM

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in good standing with APEGA.
Minimum 15+ years of progressive engineering experience in the oil and gas or broader energy sector.
Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Strong background in surface facilities engineering within an operating asset environment.
Experience managing engineering consultants, contractors, external service providers

Responsibilities

Lead the multidisciplinary Surface Engineering team, setting priorities by risk and business objectives.
Serve as senior technical authority for surface facilities.
Provide technical assurance throughout project lifecycles from concept to start-up.
Ensure regulatory compliance with codes and standards, including APEGA and ABSA.
