Job summary

The Regional District of Nanaimo is seeking a permanent full-time Superintendent of Curbside Collection Services to lead and oversee curbside collection programs. The role ensures strategic planning, performance, and continuous improvement for service delivery within Solid Waste Services.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressively responsible experience in solid waste management, environmental services, public works, or utility operations, including three years in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and continuously improve curbside programs, contracts, and customer service initiatives.
• Manage staff, budgets, contractors, and stakeholder relationships to ensure service delivery and compliance.
