Overview

Senior Manager, Commercial Digitization Product Strategy — you will lead and support commercial digitization efforts, working cross functionally to define channel and product strategies to enable the future state vision of Commercial Banking, ensuring alignment to Digital and Personal Distribution goals. You will be responsible for strategy development, business casing, risk assessments and reviews, roadmap identification and prioritization to inform the execution efforts of an agile team. By collaborating with Commercial Channels, Commercial Banking, and Digital and Personal Distribution, you will contribute to delivering on Commercial Banking strategies and commitments, while improving the client and advisor experience. In Commercial Digitization, you will focus on strategies and transformation related efforts for business banking clients ranging from small businesses to large corporations; the day to day experience of the employees who support those companies through our digital banking experiences; and the employee experience for those at RBC who work closely with our Commercial Banking clients, to provide service, support and ongoing relationship management.

Responsibilities
  • Strategy Development: Define and deliver forward-thinking strategies for commercial digital banking experiences, features and products, leveraging competitive insights, current and future state gap analysis, macro and micro economic forces of change, to establish a path to the future state, enabling both near term and horizon planning efforts
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with business partners across Commercial Banking, Operations, Technology, Risk/Compliance, Marketing and Enablement teams to define digital banking strategies and experiences, as well as prioritization and alignment
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Leverage customer insights, behavioral data, and market trends to ensure commercial digital banking strategies meet and exceed customer expectations and create a frictionless and delightful banking experience
  • Innovation & Market Opportunities: Stay ahead of digital banking trends and identify new market opportunities to enhance digital distribution strategies and reach new customer segments
  • Regulatory & Compliance Oversight: Ensure the latest changes to regulations and compliance impacting commercial banking digital experiences are incorporated into strategy development and prioritization efforts
Must-have
  • 3+ years’ experience in consulting, strategic initiatives or transformation programs
  • Experience developing technology and/or business strategy
  • Excellent aptitude for organizing, prioritizing and multi-tasking to meet conflicting demands
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo, think outside the box, and identify improvement opportunities
  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Proven ability to deal with complexity and ambiguity, and demonstrated capability to lead and collaborate effectively in cross-functional partnerships
  • Growth mindset, with a relentless appetite to learn, be challenged and develop new skills
Nice-to-have
  • Knowledge of Commercial Banking and/ or Digital Product Strategy
  • Experience with Program Management and/or Business Agility principles
