Job summary

Doane Grant Thornton in Kamloops, BC is seeking a Senior Manager, Assurance to lead client engagements and coach teams toward exceptional service across industries.

You will manage engagement teams, develop staff, recruit when needed, and drive profitability while building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.

Requirements include a completed post-secondary degree, CPA accreditation, and a minimum of seven years in public accounting.

Qualifications

• Completed post-secondary degree/diploma.
• CPA accreditation (CPA, CA; CPA, CMA or CPA, CGA).
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in public accounting or related industry.
• Strong knowledge in audit and assurance, accounting, and tax.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with colleagues to deliver exceptional client service.
• Planning, leading and executing client engagements under varying reporting frameworks.
• Managing work assignments and performance of engagement team members.
