Job summary

The role requires CPA designation or near completion, 2+ years public practice audit experience, strong technical expertise in audit, accounting and tax, and willingness to travel within Nova Scotia.

Qualifications

• CPA designation or designation near completion required.
• 2+ years of public practice audit experience required.
• Strong technical expertise in audit, accounting and tax.
• Proven problem solver with solid analytical skills.
• Ability to travel within Nova Scotia is a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Planning, preparing and execution of financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations.
• Providing solutions to clients on current business and financial conditions.
• Planning fieldwork assignments including budget and resource needs.
• Working closely with clients and providing exceptional client service.
• Leading teams on diverse engagements and developing a strong reputation for client service.
• Preparation of corporate and personal tax returns.

Education

CPA designation or designation near completion

2+ Years of public practice audit experience

Strong technical expertise in audit, accounting and tax

Proven problem solver with analytical skills

Ability to travel within Nova Scotia
