Job summary

S&C Electric Canada Ltd. is seeking a Senior Maintenance Service Coordinator to support Maintenance in Facilities, coordinating maintenance tasks, planning daily preventive maintenance, and managing inventory.

This onsite role offers a clear path to contribute to a resilient electrical grid and a safety-focused team culture. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in facilities or maintenance coordination, and experience with LEAN and CMMS, with strong organization, problem-solving, and communication

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in facilities and/or maintenance coordination, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience with LEAN manufacturing is an asset.
• Experience with CMMS.
• Excellent organizational and priority management.
• Good problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• General knowledge of production machinery and preventative maintenance is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain spare parts inventory and trigger re-orders.
• Maintain reports on lift truck parts and building supplies.
• Research spare parts, obtain quotes, and generate purchase orders.
• Maintain asset documentation in Micromain system.
• Draft maintenance procedures such as lockout/tagout and hot work permit.
• Update PM work instructions based on feedback.
• Modify TPM instructions for daily checks.
• Assist and train Mechanics on PM software.
• Generate and close maintenance work orders.
