As a Staff-level ML Engineer on the Content Contributor Intelligence team, you will leverage advanced ML and AI techniques to connect millions of users and businesses across diverse locations. Your work will involve neural networks, large language models, embedding techniques, and traditional ML methods to transform raw data into actionable signals, building end-to-end ML systems, from training to deployment, and contributing to ML platform development.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis and modeling using SQL and Python, from hypothesis to presentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of learning and excellence.
• Handle large and complex textual and visual datasets.
• Support ML projects for offline and real-time applications.
• Develop and fine-tune transformer models for text and visual understanding.
• Automate and productionize ML pipelines within Python services.
• Advocate best practices in ML development and operations, mentoring newer engineers.

Qualifications

• Experience with developing and deploying ML models, especially neural networks and computer vision, with data pipelines.
• Proficiency with ML packages like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Spark MLlib, XGBoost, and Sklearn.
• Strong coding skills in Python or similar languages (Java, C++).
• Understanding of engineering and infrastructure best practices.
• Curiosity and persistence to solve new problems and see projects through.
• Valuable experience with LLMs, APIs (OpenAI, Bedrock), prompt engineering, and evaluation.

Benefits

• Salary range: $101,000–$237,000 annually, with possible bonuses, stock, and benefits.
• Fully remote across Canada.
