Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of our partner company, is seeking a Senior M365 Software Developer based in Canada. You will design, build, test, and maintain enterprise software using C#/.NET and Microsoft 365 technologies, and lead AI-assisted development practices to boost productivity and quality.

You will mentor peers, participate in Agile planning, and collaborate with product, QA, and support teams to deliver reliable, customer-focused solutions across organizations worldwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience with C#/.NET.
• Strong OOP, software design, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with SharePoint/Teams and MS 365 APIs.
• Hands-on with AI coding tools and agentic workflows.
• Familiar with AD, Entra ID, Exchange, IIS, SQL Server.
• Experience with CI pipelines and test automation.
• Degree in CS or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise apps with C#/.NET and MS 365.
• Promote AI coding agents and secure agentic workflows.
• Improve code quality with AI-powered tools and testing.
• Mentor developers and set best practices for AI-assisted dev.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior M365 Software Developer based in Canada.

As a Senior M365 Software Developer, you will design, build, test, and maintain commercial software solutions using C#/.NET and Microsoft 365 technologies. You will play a key role in introducing AI coding agents and secure agentic workflows to improve engineering productivity, code quality, and delivery practices. Combining hands‑on development with technical leadership, you will guide teammates and help establish consistent, AI-assisted development standards. Working alongside engineering, product, quality assurance, and support teams, you will contribute to reliable solutions used by organizations worldwide. Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software applications using C#/.NET and Microsoft 365 technologies.

• Promote the adoption of AI coding agents and introduce practical, secure agentic development workflows.

• Leverage AI-powered tools to improve code quality, automated testing, debugging, refactoring, and technical documentation.

• Mentor developers and establish repeatable best practices for AI-assisted software engineering.

• Lead component-level design and contribute to technical decisions, code reviews, and continuous integration.

• Participate in Agile/SCRUM planning and delivery processes.

• Collaborate with engineering, product management, quality assurance, and support teams to deliver reliable, customer‑focused solutions.

Requirements:

• At least five years of professional experience developing applications with C#/.NET.

• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming, software design, and troubleshooting.

• Experience developing solutions for Microsoft SharePoint and/or Microsoft Teams, including Office 365, CSOM, SharePoint Migration API, or Microsoft Graph API.

• Hands‑on experience with AI coding tools and agentic workflows, such as Claude Code, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Windsurf.

• Familiarity with Microsoft enterprise technologies, including Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange, IIS, DNS, OneDrive, Windows Server, and SQL Server.

• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Agile/SCRUM methodologies, unit testing, mocking, integration testing, code coverage, and CI pipelines.

• Demonstrated ability to mentor developers, guide technical decisions, and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

• Additional assets include experience with Windows Forms, Windows networking, Azure Virtual Machines, virtualization, enterprise deployments, API security, dependency injection, secure development practices, JavaScript, TypeScript, and HTML.

• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
