Join a talented software development team building innovative digital solutions for leading companies across North America. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of sophisticated web and mobile applications, combining full-stack engineering expertise with cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies. You will work across the entire software development lifecycle, from architecture and technical planning to implementation, deployment, and ongoing support. Collaborating with international teams, clients, and technical stakeholders, you will help establish engineering standards and ensure the delivery of scalable, high-quality software. You will also have opportunities to explore emerging AI technologies, cloud infrastructure, and modern development practices. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced developer who enjoys solving complex challenges, taking ownership, and contributing to impactful technology projects in a flexible, remote-first environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Full-Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality frontend and backend applications, contributing hands‑on throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Technical Leadership: Collaborate proactively with project teams, sharing technical expertise and guiding engineers through development decisions, implementation approaches, and delivery processes.
  • Architecture and Planning: Contribute to software architecture, technical design, project planning, and estimation while ensuring solutions meet functional and performance requirements.
  • Code Quality and Governance: Establish and maintain high coding standards, enforce agreed‑upon architectural patterns and design principles, and ensure engineering practices remain consistent across projects.
  • AI and Cloud Development: Build and integrate AI‑powered capabilities using modern artificial intelligence frameworks and cloud services, including AWS technologies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to refactor existing codebases, improve system performance, reduce technical debt, and enhance software maintainability.
  • Engineering Collaboration: Ensure technical decisions, architectural changes, and development updates are clearly documented and communicated to colleagues and global project stakeholders.
  • Deployment and DevOps: Participate in deployment, release management, infrastructure configuration, and operational activities to ensure reliable software delivery.
  • Application Support: Take ownership of software releases and contribute to the ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and support of live applications.
  • Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Work directly with clients and project stakeholders to understand requirements, clarify technical expectations, and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Professional Standards: Promote a collaborative and accountable working environment, demonstrating professionalism and ensuring fair, customer‑focused outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Professional Experience: At least 6 years of experience in full‑stack software development, with strong expertise across frontend and backend technologies.
  • Java and Spring: At least 3 years of hands‑on experience developing applications using Java and the Spring framework.
  • Frontend Development: At least 4 years of experience with TypeScript and React, including building modern, responsive, and maintainable user interfaces.
  • AWS Cloud Development: At least 4 years of experience designing, developing, and deploying applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Infrastructure as Code: At least 3 years of experience with AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) and CloudFormation for infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: At least 1 year of experience with AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, and PyTorch, including developing or integrating AI and machine learning capabilities.
  • Scalable Architecture: Experience designing and building scalable software services, including serverless architectures and microservices.
  • Object‑Oriented Design: Strong object‑oriented design (OOD) skills and a solid understanding of software design principles, architectural patterns, and engineering best practices.
  • Client Collaboration: Experience working directly with clients and cross‑functional stakeholders to gather, define, refine, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
  • Problem‑Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving complex technical challenges.
  • Teamwork and Ownership: Self‑motivated, collaborative, and comfortable taking responsibility for technical decisions, project delivery, and continuous improvement.

The following qualifications are considered strong assets:
