Job summary

Sequeira Partners, Western Canada’s leading mid‑market M&A advisory firm, seeks a Senior Associate to join our Calgary or Edmonton office. You will own key workstreams across the transaction lifecycle, lead due diligence, financial modelling and client presentations, and coach junior team members.

This is a designated professional track with meaningful deal exposure. You will collaborate with senior deal teams, contribute to market intelligence, and drive client value through rigorous

Qualifications

• CPA designation or another relevant professional designation.
• Secondary designation such as the CBV is optional but encouraged.
• Approximately five or more years of relevant work experience in mid‑market M&A or related fields.
• Experience across the full M&A deal lifecycle including buyer research, modelling, marketing materials, EDW/EDR, due diligence, and pitches.
• Strong financial statement analysis, financial modelling and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead key workstreams across the transaction lifecycle.
• Review and coach junior team members.
• Prepare and refine client proposals, information memorandums and management presentations.
• Conduct industry, company, buyer and transaction research to identify opportunities.
• Review work for accuracy and presentation quality before senior review.
• Support business development and market intelligence activities.
