Job summary

West Coast Seniors HousingManagement seeks a Support Services Manager to lead the Food, Housekeeping and Laundry teams of our Vancouver area facilities. You will ensure compliant operations, supervise staff, manage budgets, and uphold quality and resident satisfaction.

This role requires strong leadership and hands-on program development in a senior housing setting. The position reports to the facility General Manager and emphasizes collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement across

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized program in Nutrition and Food Services Management.
• Membership eligibility for CSNM or registration as a Dietitian.
• Food Safe Level 1 mandatory; Level 2 an asset.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in food/housekeeping/laundry in a geriatric setting.
• Experience supervising unionized staff is an asset.
• Serving It Right and vulnerable sector checks required.

Responsibilities

• Engage and mobilize your team to achieve organizational goals and key results.
• Collaborate to maintain standards for food services, housekeeping, and laundry.
• Develop budgets, plans, and performance indicators; report to management.
• Plan seasonal menus compliant with regulations and resident needs.
• Oversee procurement, inventory, and supplier relations.
• Provide orientation and ongoing education for staff; coordinate in‑services.
