Cogir Senior Living in Toronto, Ontario is hiring a Server to join the dining room team. You will serve meals, set and clear tables, assist with dishware cleaning and maintain a welcoming dining environment for residents and guests.

The role emphasizes high-quality customer service, physical stamina for lifting and standing, and collaboration with the kitchen and caregiving staff. VPS screening is required or can be obtained on hire.

Competenze

• Preference for experience in food service with seniors
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
• Must be physically able to lift and transfer heavy items and stand/walk for majority of shift
• Proficiency in a second language is an asset
• Current VPS within 6 months or willingness to obtain one on hire

Mansioni

• Serve meals to residents and guests in a professional and courteous manner
• Set and clear dining tables and deliver tray service as required
• Assist with cleaning of dishware and kitchen/dining area at end of service
• Assist with catering and participate in special events and theme activities
• Support orientation and training of new culinary staff
• Follow health and safety legislation and department policies
• Comply with provincial regulations and residents' rights
