Job summary

Amica Taunton is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to design and oversee engaging activities for residents. You will lead programming, supervise aides and volunteers, and ensure enriching experiences that support healthy aging.

Applicants should have a related degree, geriatric programming experience, CPR/First Aid, and a valid driver’s license. This full-time role offers a competitive compensation package and benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree/diploma in Gerontology, Kinesiology, Therapeutic Recreation, Leisure Studies, Activation, Recreation, Sociology or Psychology or related discipline.
• Education/experience in geriatric programming.
• Knowledge of exercise effects on age-related changes; able to develop programs.
• CPR and First Aid; Smart Serve/Serving it Right and Food Handler certifications.
• Valid driver’s license or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead all programming in the community.
• Supervise Life Enrichment Assistants and volunteers.
• Coordinate the Volunteer Program and special events.
