Job summary

Prima Living’s Amenida brand is hiring a Guest Attendant for on-site support at our Belleville, ON location. The role collaborates with the Health and Wellness Manager to assist residents with daily needs, safety, and care, including medication administration and dining support.

Flexible shifts include days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays. Post-secondary education in hospitality or healthcare-adjacent fields is preferred, with 1–2 years in related settings.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, healthcare, or seniors’ living is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Able to prioritize tasks and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident call bells and assist with daily care needs while ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity.
• Administer medications and treatments, prepare medication carts, monitor supplies, coordinate refills, and maintain medication records.
• Complete resident wellness checks and report changes to Health and Wellness Manager or designate.
• Support dining services by completing census checks, monitoring well-being, providing tray service, and assisting staff as required.
• Complete required documentation including charting, MARs, narcotic counts, logs, wellness checklists, and shift reports.
• Assist residents with escorts, transfers, supervision, laundry, linen changes, and other support services.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and report safety or maintenance issues.
• Participate in shift handovers and emergency procedures.
