Qualifications

• Grade Twelve (12) or equivalent.
• One year community college quantity cooking course.
• National Sanitation Program including HACCP knowledge.
• WHMIS knowledge.
• Experience in maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Knowledge of dietary requirements of geriatric residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to the menu.
• Maintain high safety and sanitation standards in equipment and work areas.
• Train, guide, and supervise staff as required.
• Assist in planning menus and catering as needed.
