Preszler Injury Lawyers in Vancouver seeks a Paralegal/Legal Assistant in the litigation department to support a lawyer as their right-hand. The role includes trial prep, document management, and coordinating records and court filings.

The position offers a full-time schedule with a hybrid model (office full-time or two days per week from home). Candidates should have senior paralegal experience in litigation and personal injury exposure, plus strong organizational and client-relations skills.

Qualifications

• Senior paralegal experience in litigation.
• Personal injury experience.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Empathetic with ability to build rapport with clients.
• Excellent accuracy and ability to exercise initiative and good judgement.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules based on litigation deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assisting counsel with trial and court preparations.
• Overseeing staff who request records and schedule litigation events.
• Preparing, editing, and proofreading correspondence.
• Pre and post preparation for discoveries, mediations, and trials.
• Reviewing and organizing medical briefs and arranging medical assessments.
• Managing files with your lawyer through all stages of the legal process.
• Drafting routine correspondence and memos.
• Ensuring court filings are completed accurately and timely.
• Other duties as assigned.
