Yan Muirhead LLP, a fast-paced Vancouver litigation firm, seeks a senior paralegal with a warm, proactive attitude. Based in Vancouver, this in-office role offers a hybrid schedule and benefits.

You will draft pleadings, support court hearings, and manage files through all stages of litigation, ensuring deadlines are met. Ideal candidates hold a paralegal certificate/diploma with 5+ years in commercial litigation, excellent organization, and strong time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate/diploma required.
• Minimum 5 years in commercial litigation as a paralegal.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft correspondence, pleadings and legal documents.
• Assist lawyers with court hearings and trials preparation.
• Manage files through all stages and meet deadlines.
• Assist with court filings in Small Claims, Supreme Court and Court of Appeal.
• Prepare LTSA forms and filings with the LTO.
• Review documents for production and use Everlaw for document lists.
• Maintain court calendar and the file tracking system.
