DWF in Calgary is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate (5–9 years’ call) to join our Alberta litigation team. You will handle your own files, work directly with counsel, and receive hands‑on mentorship to develop your advocacy skills on sophisticated insurance defence and civil matters.

Qualifications

• 5 - 9 years of post-call civil litigation experience.
• Experience in insurance defence preferred; candidates with strong civil litigation experience from other practice areas are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with the Alberta Rules of Court and litigation procedures.
• Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Sound professional judgment and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal
• Strong organizational skills and time management abilities
