Crafty Penguins is seeking a Senior Linux Systems Specialist for a fully remote role with a focus on client-facing Linux and cloud infrastructure. You will solve complex technical problems while maintaining strong customer relationships, and help design scalable infrastructures across diverse environments.

You’ll work with Linux, Open Source, DevOps, and Kubernetes tooling to support servers, cloud management, backups, and security.

Competenze

• Advanced knowledge of Linux-based operating systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Networking.
• Experience with multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCloud, Digital Ocean).
• Debugging Unix/Linux and IP networking at a low level.
• Proficiency with Docker, Podman, and container runtimes.
• Experience with Kubernetes or similar orchestration systems.
• Scripting skills in Bash and Python.
• 5+ years of hands-on Linux/DevOps experience.

Mansioni

• Communicate and handle client requests.
• Monitor and respond to client system alerts.
• Perform system patching and health checks for clients.
• Execute deployments following SOPs.
• Onboard new clients and craft roadmaps for improving their infrastructure.
• Track time on all hours worked; some afterhours may be required.
