WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

We are looking for a Linux Administrator to join our team at Next Level Games. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless information and technology flow across the company and with external partners.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Administer Linux systems—physical and virtual
2. Monitor and maintain on-premises and cloud infrastructures
3. Manage networking infrastructure
4. Maintain end-user equipment, hardware, software, and supplies
5. Perform installation, implementation, and upgrades of systems and software
6. Maintain documentation of procedures and configurations
7. Evaluate and implement security best practices
8. Help improve company productivity
9. Identify and solve problems proactively
10. Share knowledge and collaborate with team members
11. Participate in technical reviews and develop best practices
12. Communicate maintenance and incidents effectively
13. Coordinate with external partners

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Degree in System Administration or equivalent experience in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience administering Linux servers. Proficiency with configuration management tools, infrastructure monitoring, networking, source control, scripting, and excellent communication skills.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with Linux hardening, containerization, storage networks, virtualization, cloud platforms, Windows server, databases, and gaming studio environments is a plus.

This is an on-site position at our Vancouver studio, requiring five days per week. The salary range is CA$70,000 - CA$105,000, based on skills and experience.
