Job summary

Teledyne Vision Solutions seeks a Linux Software Developer to design and maintain high-performance image acquisition software for machine vision systems. You will work on user-space libraries, GenTL producers, and kernel drivers for frame grabbers and GigE Vision devices.

You will collaborate with hardware, FPGA, QA, and product teams to deliver reliable acquisition solutions with automated testing and cybersecurity practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong C/C++ programming experience.
• Experience with Linux development and kernel drivers.
• Familiarity with GenICam, GenTL, and GigE Vision standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain acquisition software components for Linux platforms.
• Develop Linux kernel drivers for frame grabbers and acquisition devices.
• Create and maintain user-space libraries, APIs, SDKs, and GenTL producers.
• Optimize performance, memory usage, and throughput for high-bandwidth image capture.
• Collaborate with hardware, FPGA, QA, and product teams; support GenICam standards.
